Services:

In addition to preventative health services, vaccinations and annual exams, we also offer the following services:

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets’ complete health care needs.

Microchipping:  In the U.S., only 22% of lost pets ever find their way home.  Microchipping is a simple, almost pain-free procedure that can lead to you being reunited with your pet in the unfortunate event that you become separated.  We offer the ResQ chip by Bayer, which has no registration fee associated with it.  Every 6 months, the ResQ data is updated with the US Postal Service, so that if you have forwarded your mail, your information will get updated in the ResQ system.  Bayer donated 20,000 of their universal scanners to shelters across the US to aid in lost pets being reunited with their owners.

Surgical Services:  Our surgical facility provides for the performance of a wide range of procedures, including (but not limited to) neuters, spays and other abdominal surgeries, ear trims, tail docking, declaws, limb amputation, luxating patella correction, fracture repair, bladder stone removal, and wound management.

Anesthesia:  Although there is always some inherent risk associated with anesthesia, we strive to provide the safest available anesthetics to our patients.  Each protocol is tailored specifically to your pets’ needs, which is especially important in geriatric and high risk patients.

Radiology Services:  Our on-site x-ray equipment allows us immediate access to high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders, such as fractures, arthritis, and internal problems.

Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet.

Dentistry:  We provide routine dentistry under general anesthesia, including teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and oral surgery.

Prescription Diet/Nutritional Counseling:  We supply Hills Science and Prescription Diet to provide for your pet’s specific dietary needs.  From weight loss to disease management to health maintenance, we can select the diet that is best for your pet.  We will provide guidance regarding your pet’s nutritional needs for each life stage!

Geriatric Counseling:  We will help you adjust to your older pets changing needs through wellness testing, education on how to care for an older pet, and addressing cognitive dysfunction and medical issues that can affect behavior.

Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.

Referrals:  We are also able to offer a referral for your pet, if needed, to a Veterinary Specialist.  Some referrals are in the fields of:  critical care, behavior, orthopedic medicine, internal medicine, neurology, ophthalmology, cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, radiology, etc.

Boarding:  Although we are not a primary boarding facility, we do have limited boarding space available. We would be glad to take care of your pet anytime you need us to, but make sure to call in advance, especially around holidays and some weekends.  Our veterinarian does a brief examination on all boarders to ensure that no obvious health issues are being overlooked.  These exams should not take the place of your regularly scheduled annual exams.

Drop off Services:  If you don’t have time to bring your pet in during your busy work day, call for a drop off appointment.  You can have your pet in our office as early as 7:30 a.m. on weekdays and 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Emergency Services:  If you have an animal medical emergency outside of our regular operating hours, please call our clinic at 662-327-9414 and obtain the telephone number of the doctor on call.  We are available 24 hours a day.

Your animal’s health & your satisfaction is our top priority!
